Spring Camp Out!!

I would like to thank all the parents that were able to make the Camp Out this past weekend. I think everyone had a good time. I have always enjoyed watching the boys cross over to a new rank and it was a privilege to have them cross over with me as their Den Leader. I am looking forward to guiding them through Weblos 1 next year as they work towards their Weblos Rank and the Arrow of Light next year. Thank you for giving to opportunity to be a part of your boy’s life.

MAY 5th DEN MEETING CANCELED!!!!!!

The den meeting for Tuesday May 5th is CANCELED!! It is 2am and we just got back from taking Griffyn to Children’s ER for a high fever and vomiting. I have to get up for work in 4 hours and am not sure I will be able to conduct a meeting tomorrow. I will get together with April and Barb on what time the activities are going on, hopefully we can work on the Mother’s Day Project at the camp out on Saturday.

Hello Parents,

Just a reminder about the Spring Camp Out this weekend. The camp out is Friday and Saturday night, with the Cross Over Ceremony on Saturday night. Griffyn and I will be down there Friday Night, leaving early Saturday morning and will return around 1pm Saturday afternoon.

*** The cross-over ceremony is where they officially pass from being a Bear to becoming a Webelo. At this time, I would like to hand over a Webelo cap, neckerchief and neckerchief slide to each scout. This is what all the dens will be doing with their boys. These items cost a total of $28.73.

I plan to go to the shop on Friday. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO PICK THESE ITEMS UP FOR YOU WHEN I GO, YOU CAN PAY ME AT TOMORROW’S MEETING AND I CAN PICK THEM UP FOR YOU TO HAVE FOR SATURDAY’S EVENT. I would hate for any of the boys to get left out on getting their new caps, neckerchiefs and slides when everyone else is getting theirs.

Parents, There will be a den meeting this Tuesday at 6:30. If at all possible, can you please bring either a school picture or another picture of the boys. We are going to be making our Mother’s Day gifts. If you have any questions, please email or call me.

Pack Meeting Tuesday, April 28th, 7:00pm at the Church

Just a reminder parents that we do have a Pack Meeting at the church on Tuesday. Our den has the flag ceremony, so if you could be there no later than 6:45pm so we can practice the ceremony a time or two before the meeting starts, that would be great!!

Mr. Smith (Wolf Den Leader) was able to arrange a pack outing for us this Sunday at Big Bone Lick Park with the Naturalist at 2:00. He will talk about fossils and how the park was created among other things. The cost is only $3.00 per child. If you are interested in going please let me or Mr. Smith know.
